About Monitor Dynamics

Established in 1979, Monitor Dynamics (MonDyn) is a US based manufacturer of unified security management systems that blend access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and identity products into an open-architecture, command and control IP platform. Monitor Dynamics is the proven leader in developing corporate-wide, military-wide and government-wide managed security solutions that deliver real-time visualization and facility control to over 10 million client access and intrusion points across the globe.

MonDyn has remained the leader in enterprise-level unified access and intrusion for over 30 years. MonDyn's core technology is an award-winning, open architecture security command and control platform branded as SAFEnet. SAFEnet unifies the capabilities of point security products within an organization so that they are able to work together, in real-time, to deliver higher levels of security than possible from disparate point products. Individual security offerings, whether IP or analog, such as access control, video surveillance and alarm management, located across the global enterprise, can now work cohesively as one unified system. Bringing security together into a centrally managed dashboard environment delivers real-time visibility, increased situational awareness, a lower total cost of ownership and the highest levels of security control available today.

MonDyn created the Unified Platform concept in 2005 by developing a centralized ecosystem that goes far beyond the standard integrated access control software offered by its competitors. These innovations are continuously driven by the daily security requirements of MonDyn's high-security customer base, and were brought to market by the company's ALERT Research & Development team. The current SAFEnet product, SAFEnet 6.2.16, combines the power of 30 years of high-security Government requirements into a single operating platform - empowering MonDyn customers with a proven suite of software and hardware that is capable of delivering the highest levels of security knowledge and experience in the industry.

Monitor Dynamics has received numerous industry awards for their Unified Technology including Frost & Sullivan's Security Systems Technology Leadership Award, Government Security News' Security Product of the Year, Asset Protection Executive's Technology Innovation Award and the Security Industry Association's (SIA) Top Integrated Product Award.

Most recently, MonDyn has been recognized as the recipient of the Govies Platinum Award for Best Access Control System in the Government Security Market. The Govies Award is sponsored by the GovSec Conference and Security Products Magazine. In addition, the company’s GSA APL Approved Identity Management Platform has received the Four Bridges Forum (4BF) award for the Most Innovative Uses of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and the PKI Bridge serving the United States Federal Government.
